Cindy Morris - Understanding God
NAME: Cindy Morris
LOCATION: Brisbane, Australia
Naturopath and Universal Medicine Therapies Practitioner
I grew up in the Western Suburbs of Sydney and although my family life was not ideal, my parents divorcing when I was young and the turmoil that came with that, I was lucky enough that I enjoyed school and always had a keen interest in learning new things. I had a particular love for maths and science and was also supported by an innate connection I felt to God, although my Sunday school lessons never sat well with me, as I could never comprehend how a loving God would send every person from another religion to hell.
I observed the world as being imperfect and wondered how God could let this be. This led me to grow up with a sense of disillusionment, however I maintained a love for science and learning and could see the intelligence and beauty in nature, so I knew that God had got something right.
During my twenties I found myself struggling with a poor relationship and ill health. I didn’t exactly have a diagnosable disease – chronic fatigue, irritable bowel were not even accepted conditions in the 1980’s, so I was left to find the answers for myself and quickly learnt that what I ate had a profound effect upon how I felt.
Officially I was studying Linguistics at the Australian National University, but in my spare time I devoured any information I could find on nutrition, herbal medicine and iridology and later went on to formalise this study with a Naturopathic diploma.
I married at 26 and later had a son who brought much joy to my life, but my relationship with my husband was lacking and again I struggled with chronic fatigue. It was during this time that I was forced to consider the impact of emotions on the body and how even the most perfect diet would not be enough to keep me well.
Today I work as a naturopath in a Brisbane pharmacy and love my job. In clinic, I offer Universal Medicine Therapies as well as Naturopathic services.
It has been a blessing to come to Universal Medicine and learn the modalities, to understand that it is the energy we choose that has the most profound effect upon our body, as well as finally gaining an understand for how God could exist in a world with so much turmoil.
I will be ever grateful to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.
